This policy explains what personal data Trusora collects, why, and what rights you have over it. Trusora is a UK-wide local advice website – see our About page for what the site is and how it’s funded.
Who we are
Trusora (trusora.co.uk) is operated by Dillon Weyer, trading as Trusora, a sole trader based in Birmingham, UK. You can contact us at hi@trusora.co.uk with any privacy question or request.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent by email to hi@trusora.co.uk (via our email provider’s relay). Submissions are not stored in a database on this site – they exist only as an email in our inbox, kept for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry.
The chat assistant
This site includes an AI chat assistant. If you use it, your messages and the assistant’s replies are stored in our database together with your IP address, so we can maintain the conversation and review how the assistant is performing. Your messages are sent to Anthropic (the AI provider behind the assistant, based in the United States) to generate responses – see Anthropic’s privacy policy for how they handle that data. We may also receive a notification of new conversations by email or Telegram so we can follow up.
Business information
Pages on this site describing individual local businesses (name, address, phone number, opening hours) are compiled from publicly available sources, not submitted by site visitors. This isn’t personal data about you as a visitor – see our About page for how and why these pages exist.
Cookies and advertising
This site may use cookies for basic technical functions (e.g. remembering that you’ve seen a notice) and, where advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google’s Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how it’s used. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@trusora.co.uk. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as the site’s advertising or features change. The date below reflects the last update.
